VenueALL OUR CLASSES ARE NOW ATSt Margaret's Episcopal Church hall, St Margaret's Brae, Gallowgate, AB25 1EA.
About our classes You can come alone, or with a partner or friends, as there is usually a balance of leaders and followers. The evening has an emphasis on learning this exciting and passionate dance, as well as socialising and having fun. Followers are moved around intermittently to allow the opportunity to dance with different partners to gain experience.
Suitable shoes and clothing for classes Comfortable loose clothing, allowing the freedom of leg movements required in Tango, is recommended. Smooth-soled shoes are advised to allow the feet to pivot freely. Followers (normally ladies) shoes are best suited to having a heel as this can help with posture and dance style. However, dance trainers may be more comfortable to wear. For social Milongas and special events you may choose to wear more formal attire to add to the ambience of the occasion.
