Visiting teacher Saturday 5 October!

Aberdeen is pleased to welcome the return of ALI HARTLAND on SATURDAY 5 OCTOBER to present two workshops. Place the date in your diary so as to not miss this great opportunity - full details will be available soon!

Ali's career has seen her working with a vast array of artists, including Miguel Zotto and Milena Plebs and the Tango Por Dos Company; Carlos Gavito; Pupy Castello; Julio Balmaceda and Corina de la Rosa; Nito and Elba Garcia, Osvaldo Zotto and Lorena Ermocida.

Driven by her insatiable love of Tango, in 1991, Ali founded and operated the very first UK milonga in London, El Cafetín Porteño. That same passion made her a natural choice for a performance part in Alan Parker’s movie Evita.

Ali's position as an ambassador of Tango was officially recognised when she received the Maestro de Milongueros Award in Buenos Aires for her outstanding contribution in promoting Argentinian Tango in Europe.

Ali runs the very successful Viva Tango in Chester.
