Alexandra has been teaching tango for 15 years and in 2002 co-created the first Argentine tango school in London, Tango in Action. She now runs Alexandra Wood Tango School based in London and enjoys travelling to teach and perform internationally.
Since the age of three Alexandra trained in classical ballet and later in contemporary dance. She trained in dance and other performing arts for six years, in the latter three she studied and gained BA Hons degree in Dance. She originally worked professionally as a contemporary dancer, and continues to train and study all forms, but her passion for Argentine Tango formed her career.

Alexandra’s tango training took place mainly in Buenos Aires where she had the privilege of performing in many milongas. She studied with many teachers including Masters Miguel Angel Zotto (with whom she had the honour of teaching with), Osvaldo Zotto, Los Dispari, and the incredible Misse family especially the late Andrea Misse.

Alexandra was dance captain and performed in the stage hit Midnight Tango for two years. She also performed with Guillermo Torrens for Milos Karadaglic at The BBC Classic Brit Awards, and on the TV show This Morning. Alexandra danced in The TV show The Zingzillas, and during 2013 performed on Strictly Come Dancing. She tours currently in the UK, performing for Tangomotion with Tango Siempre, and organises tango holidays.

Guillermo was born in Argentina and tango soon became his life. His studies began in Rosario, Argentina with the legendary Orlando Paiva along with Claudio Omar and Maria Veronica and intensified when he moved to Buenos Aires in 2002 to study with teachers such as the 'Maestro de Maestros' Raul Bravo along with Angela Ruth Manonellas, Silvio Lavia and Mini Santapa.

Studying classical dance at an early age influenced Guillermo. His artistic background has a strong emphasis on technique and dance interpretation. He studied ballet at Teatro Colon with Liliana Belfiore, a former prima ballerina of The English National Ballet Company. Guillermo has performed in many shows and theatres in Argentina and was a member of many well known ballet companies in Buenos Aires.

From 2005 to 2007 he was the tango partner of Liliana Belfiore performing in different shows, events and in TV shows. From then on Guillermo has performed and taught tango in many countries including Switzerland, Greece and in the UK.

Guillermo is an experienced choreographer and has a tango school in the North of England - Tangounlimited, and is involved in teaching tango in schools and organising tango festivals, tango holidays and cultural holidays.
